New Year, New Gear
I am a bit late, but Happy New Year everyone!
A cold stormy January has seen me trying to be creative during these dark days. The light has not been good for photography really. But I snapped a few pics, check out my gallery for the new photos.
I started film photography last year at the start of October and have spent a small fortune on developing, scanning and film. Although I like the results I get, I do appreciate digital a little bit more than I did previously.
I made a Photo Book with Photobox.com of my 35mm and 120 film photos. It took about a week to make and I am really pleased with it! I can definitely recommend Photobox.com.
I somehow got my hands on an iconic camera… a Leica M6 from 1987.
I have shot two rolls of film through it and I really do love it. It came with a nice presentation case and strap. I also bought a Leica 50mm F2.8 Elmar lens to go with it. The lens is very retro looking and it does have a lot of character. I am looking to invest further with other lenses, namely 35mm and 28mm focal lengths.
I have stocked up on film for a couple of months, I just hope we have some better weather so I can use it in better conditions.
Sadly I had to say goodbye to my faithful DJI Mini 3 Pro drone. I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I did.
The DJI Mavic Pro will be released soon which I am very interested to see. The images coming out on the internet make it look completely different to the previous Mavic 3 Pro.
I recently used MPB and they gave me a special offer to share with my friends. I’m treating you to an exclusive £20 off your first order. I’ll also get a reward, so it’s a win-win!
If you read this months blog, thank you!
Take care,
